HEALTH CHAMPIONS- Health is a basic human right, yet so many women and children in underserved communities lack access to even the most fundamental healthcare services. Imagine a mother unable to afford prenatal care, a child suffering from malnutrition, or a woman battling HIV/AIDS with no medical support. At BEFA, we believe that no woman should die unnecessarily from preventable causes like childbirth complications, lack of prenatal care, or treatable infections. To bridge this gap, BEFA is building women’s clinics in remote cities across Africa, ensuring that every woman has access to comprehensive medical care, including pre- and post-natal services, maternal health education, and routine checkups. As a volunteer healthcare professional, you will be at the frontline of saving lives and restoring dignity. BEFA’s work goes beyond legal aid, healthcare, and education—we need skilled professionals, technical experts, and dedicated volunteers to help us fundraise, organize, build, and expand our mission. At BEFA, we are not just providing temporary aid—we are building lasting solutions. Our BEFA Haven Project is creating sustainable, fully furnished homes for homeless working women and families.
